Aims

The International Academy at the Moulin d'Andé chiefly aims at providing professional or top-level musicians with the means of bettering their musical expertise under the direction of players, teachers and masters of international renown. Pianos and practice-rooms are at the disposal of the participants in a number sufficient to ensure efficient conditions of work.

They can meet in several places and profit by their mutual experience. Musicians from various countries are thus in a position to play together and launch into chamber music concerts in a spontaneous and informal way.

Daily life based on conviviality, when professors and participants live under the same roof and get together at the same table enables everyone to prolong the exchanges that began during the lessons.

Finally the International Academy at the Moulin d'Andé wishes to be opened to a large public and invites outside audience to sit in on lectures and attend concerts.
