Scriptwriting Competition for Short Films - details

"L'Eure : Land of Cinema"
In partnership with Eure county

Eure county in collaboration with the Moulin d'Andé-CECI organises a yearly competition for fictional scripts for short films, the action of which must take place in Eure County and include some scenes on location.

Requirements for Participation

• Typed script for a fiction movie including dialogue
• Length of film : 13 minutes maximum
• A significant part of filming must take place in Eure County (scenes on location)
• One script per author

Prizes

A committee will select the six best applicants. These will benefit from a five-day re-writing workshop at the Moulin d’Andé – Centre for Film Writing, run by an experienced scriptwriter.

A jury appointed by the Chairman of the Eure General Council subsequently awards first and second prizes.

The selected six award winners will compete for :

• 1st prize : € 2,300 for the author and € 12,200 for production
• 2nd prize: € 800 for the author
