Introduction

vignetteThe Moulin d’Andé (the Mill at Andé) is the last example of a “moulin pendant” (wheel hanging above the water). Built at the end of the 12th century on a tributary of the Seine in Normandy, between Les Andelys and Rouen, it is a classified historical monument and has been designated an official Cultural Centre by the Ministry of Culture.
